Organisation

Players get into groups of three in a triangle.

Two at the top
and one between.

Remember to always give the player on the ball a supporting
angle and to pass to the receiving players favoured back foot.

Have a pride
in your passing, pass how you would like to receive the ball.
Black lines represent the movement of the ball, coloured lines
represent the movement of the coloured player.
1. Diagonal
Passing
-
Player 1 passes the ball to player 3, to his favoured back
foot and overlaps 3 to receive the ball from player 2.
- Player 3 passes to player 2 to his favoured back foot.
- Player 2 plays player 1 in. Play the ball in front of player 1 to run onto.
- Keep repeating exercise. Except player 1 now becomes player 3, player 3
becomes player 1, etc.

2. Square Passsing
- Player 1 passes to player 2 and then overlaps him to receive a pass from
player 3.
- Player 2 passes to player 3 and then overlaps him to receive a pass from
player 1
- Player 3 passes to player 1's favoured back foot.
- Player 1 plays player 2 in. The ball should be played so player 2 can run
onto the ball
- Keep repeating drill. Player 2 is now player 3, player 1 is now player 2.

Playing short
- Player 1 passes to player 2 and then overlaps him to receive a pass
from player 2.
- Player 2 passes to player 3's favoured foot and then comes short for
a return pass. Player 2 then passes player 1 in. The ball should be played
so player 1 can run onto the ball.
- Player 3 passes to player 2's favoured foot.

4. Turning it around the corner
Flick the ball on to the runner
- Player 1 passes to player 2 and then overlaps him to receive a pass
from player 3.
- Player 2 passes to player 3,to the outside of his favoured foot.
- Player 3 flicks the ball on for player 1 to run onto.

5. Turn and Play
Half turn and pass
- Player 1 passes to player 2 and then overlaps him to receive a pass
from player 3.
- Player 2 passes to player 3's favoured foot.
- Player 3 turns and passes the ball on for player 1 to run onto.
