Providing a Safe Environemt

Taking part in sport and that participating in any sporting activity carries an element of risk. As the deliverer of a footballing activity to young people, you have a responsibility for their safety and welfare. You must consider the risks and hazards associated with taking part in sport.

Skill development or skills training is a very important component of a training regime and is necessary for safety in sport. If you do not develop the specific skills needed for your sport, you are likely to become injured.
