Goalkeeping: Flexibility Exercises

The Key elements are Stretching, Suppleness, Agility and Strength

Practices

  1. Keepers stand back-back and pass the ball around to each other. Change direction.
  2. Two Keepers sitting opposite each other with their legs apart. They must reach forward and touch the ball. Work sides as well.
  3. The Keeper lies on the floor while 2 players, 3 yards apart, pass through him. The Keeper has too raise himself as the ball gets to him and let it pass under his body.
