A Ball Warm Up For Match Day

Organisation
- The keeper should come out 45-50 minutes
before kick off.
- He should have completed a warm up and stretches before
introducing a ball. T

seven cones.
- Set up cones close, one foot apart maximum as shown.

Exercises
All 5 runs each
- Quick feet. The keeper lands one foot between
each cone.
- Side to side. The keeper glides through
the cones side to side.
- Quick feet.
- Facing sideways. Run over the cones landing
feet alternately between the cones. Face other direction.
- Concentrated handling. The server throws
or volleys the ball from a distance of 20 yards. 20 repetitions.
- Edge of area. The server takes a variety
of shots from the edge of the area. Volley into his body and then
make him save.
- Dealing with crosses. Six crosses from each
side. Return the ball to the server using a variety of throws and
kicks. Add a forward to stand in front of the Keeper.
