Organisation
- Grid is 15 yards x 12 yards.
- Two blue defenders try to prevent four red attackers from playing the ball
forward.
- They only allow sideways passing.

Exercise
- If red 1 has the ball, blue 1, must close him down quickly, stopping
the ball being played to red 4.
- Blue 2, must cover blue 1, but also be in a
position to stop the pass to red 3.
- The only option should be the square ball
tored 2.
- When red 1 passes to red 2 the blues must readjust their position
so blue 2 pressures the ball and blue 1 covers.
- If a successful pass is made
blues must then prevent red 3 and 4 from passing forward.
- Keep changing defenders,give a goal for a forward pass.
