3 v 3 Defending

Organisation
  • Pitch should be 55 yards long and 20 yards wide.
  • There should be one end zone at each each end about 5 yards long (include these in the size of the pitch).
  • Players line up in threes and the Coach can kick the ball to either team.

The Coach kicks the ball to either team,he varies his service to increase or decrease the time it takes to reach the controlling player. The first player must have two touches before he can release the ball, there after free play. As soon as the Coach releases the ball defenders start defending. To score, a team must get a player into the end zone with his foot on the ball.

Work on all aspects of defending.
